Retired Pay Restoration Act

This bill would let military retirees receive both their military retirement pay and veterans' disability payments at the same time for any service-connected disability. Right now, only people with disabilities rated at 50% or more can get both payments without one being reduced. The bill would also allow people who retired or left the military after 20 years due to a service-connected disability to get full disability payments along with either their military retirement pay or combat-related special pay.
