Ukrainian Adjustment Act of 2025

This bill creates a faster way for Ukrainian people living in the United States to become permanent residents. It applies to Ukrainians who were allowed into the U.S. after February 20, 2014, along with their spouses and children. The Department of Homeland Security can excuse certain reasons that would normally prevent someone from getting permanent resident status, except for serious crimes or security issues. People applying must go through background checks and interviews similar to those used for refugees.
