RPM Access Act

This bill sets rules for when Medicare will pay for remote patient monitoring services. Medicare will only pay if healthcare workers can respond right away to any problems the monitoring detects, if the monitoring system can share data with electronic health records when needed, and if providers report data to Medicare as required. The bill also sets a minimum payment amount for these services and requires Medicare to study the costs and savings from remote patient monitoring over four years.
