Ernest Peltz Accrued Veterans Benefits Act

This bill creates rules for the Department of Veterans Affairs to pay pensions that were approved for veterans but not paid before the veteran died. The pension money would go to the veteran's spouse first, then children, then parents, or finally to the veteran's estate if no family members are available. Family members must apply for these payments within one year of the veteran's death, or the money automatically goes to the estate.
