Natural Gas Tax Repeal Act

This bill would end an EPA program that helps reduce methane emissions from oil and gas companies. It would also eliminate a fee that certain oil and gas facilities must pay if they release large amounts of methane into the air. The fee applies to facilities that emit 25,000 metric tons or more of greenhouse gases each year.
