State Energy Accountability Act

This bill requires states that have certain energy policies, like requiring solar or wind energy, to study how those policies affect their electric power systems. The states must look at how the policies impact electricity rates and reliability, including whether the grid can meet demand during emergencies, busy periods, or severe weather. The states must make these studies available to the public.
