Improving Access to Workers’ Compensation for Injured Federal Workers Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules for the federal workers' compensation program, which helps federal employees who get hurt on the job. Right now, only doctors can do things like prescribe treatment, confirm how serious an injury is, and take part in required medical exams for injured federal workers. This bill would also allow nurse practitioners and physician assistants to do those same things, as long as they are working within the scope of what they are trained and licensed to do.
