Air Traffic Control Workforce Development Act of 2025

This bill changes how air traffic controllers are trained and hired. It creates a new program that gives grants to certain colleges that train air traffic controllers, and these college graduates can go straight to work instead of attending extra training at a government academy. The bill also sets aside money through 2031 to buy training equipment for air traffic control facilities and requires the government to create programs to recruit and keep air traffic controllers. Additionally, it requires the Federal Aviation Administration to develop mental health training for air traffic controllers and to review how they test and train these workers.
