Small Entity Update Act

This bill requires the Securities and Exchange Commission to study how its rules affect small businesses and other small entities. The SEC must look at how it currently defines "small entity" and make recommendations to Congress on how to change this definition to reduce unnecessary burdens and cover more entities. The SEC must also adjust dollar amounts used in these definitions for inflation every five years and update its rules based on these recommendations.
