Promoting Opportunities for Non-Traditional Capital Formation Act

This bill gives the Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation new jobs to do. The office will have to provide educational materials and host events to help certain small businesses learn about ways to raise money, including businesses owned by underrepresented groups, businesses in rural areas, and businesses hurt by natural disasters. The office will also have to meet once a year with state securities commission representatives to talk about working together.
