Personnel Oversight and Shift Tracking Act of 2025

This bill requires the Federal Protective Service to improve how security guards at federal buildings are trained and tracked. The agency must create new testing and training programs for security contractors, including quarterly reviews of their performance and mandatory additional training for guards who fail tests. The Federal Protective Service must also look at whether it needs to upgrade its system for tracking which security guards are working at which buildings and when. The agency has to report to Congress on these efforts within one year and then annually after that.
