Water Resources Technical Assistance Review Act

This bill requires the Government Accountability Office to review how the Environmental Protection Agency helps communities with clean water infrastructure projects. The review must look at what technical help is available to states, tribes, local governments, and other organizations, including what the EPA has done in the past five years. The Government Accountability Office must also examine how the EPA chooses partners to help communities and figure out what economically struggling communities still need that they're not getting. After the review, the Government Accountability Office will send a report to Congress with recommendations for improvement, and the EPA must report back to Congress each year for five years about what they're doing to follow those recommendations.
