Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act

This bill would stop the Department of Health and Human Services from giving family planning grants to organizations that perform abortions or give money to other organizations that perform abortions. Organizations wanting grants would have to promise not to do these activities while receiving the grant. The bill allows exceptions for abortions in cases of rape, incest, or when the woman's life is in danger due to a physical problem. Hospitals are exempt unless they give money to non-hospital organizations that provide abortions, and the Department of Health and Human Services would have to report to Congress about this rule every year.
