FIREARM Act

This bill stops the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) from taking away or refusing to renew gun dealers' federal licenses based on mistakes that the dealers report to the ATF themselves before inspectors find them. The ATF can only use this protection if the mistake can be fixed and did not involve selling a gun to someone who is not allowed to have one. The rule applies to past cases as well as future ones.
