One Agency Act

This bill would move all antitrust enforcement from the Federal Trade Commission to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice would get the FTC's antitrust workers, money, and resources. The Justice Department would have one year to make this change happen, with a possible extra 180 days if needed. During this transition, the Justice Department could reorganize its antitrust division and let FTC workers help with antitrust cases before they officially transfer over. The bill also lets the Justice Department require businesses to file reports about how they operate and their relationships with other companies.
