Chugach Alaska Land Exchange Oil Spill Recovery Act of 2025

This bill allows the Chugach Alaska Corporation, an Alaska Native regional corporation, to trade land with the federal government. If Chugach gives the government about 231,000 acres of underground land rights within one year, the government must give Chugach about 65,374 acres of regular land in the Chugach region of Alaska. Chugach can keep up to 209 acres that village corporations have development rights to or that are set aside for shareholder home sites.
