Prevent Tariff Abuse Act

This bill would stop the President from using emergency economic powers to put taxes or limits on goods coming into the United States from other countries. Currently, the President can use a law called the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to control economic activities during a national emergency, but this bill would remove the ability to tax or restrict imports under that law.
