Combatting International Drug Trafficking and Human Smuggling Partnership Act of 2025

This bill allows U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers to do more work in other countries, including helping foreign governments stop drug smuggling, human trafficking, and terrorist threats that could affect the United States. The bill also lets the U.S. government use taxpayer money to pay for damages if CBP employees accidentally hurt someone or damage property while working in foreign countries. People who want to make claims for these damages must do so within two years of the incident, and the government's ability to pay these claims expires five years after the bill becomes law.
