Cutting Copays Act

Starting in 2026, people with the lowest incomes who get help paying for Medicare prescription drugs will not have to pay anything out of pocket for generic medications. Currently, these individuals pay some cost-sharing for generic drugs, but this bill would eliminate those payments entirely.
