Protecting America From Spies Act

This bill makes it harder for non-U.S. citizens to enter the United States if they are involved in spying or sabotage activities. Currently, people can be banned from entering if they plan to spy or break laws about sharing sensitive information once they get to the U.S. The bill would expand this to also ban people who have already done these things in the past or are currently doing them, even if it happened outside the United States. The bill would also ban the spouse or children of these individuals if the spying or sabotage happened within the last five years.
