International Traffic in Arms Regulations Licensing Reform Act

This bill requires the State Department to set time limits for reviewing requests to sell weapons or military services to other countries. The State Department must create a list of countries and buyers where fast approval decisions are important for U.S. security, and share that list with Congress every year. For countries on the list, decisions on export requests should generally be made within 45 days, and for all other countries, within 60 days, though these deadlines can be paused in certain situations. The State Department must also report to Congress every six months on any export requests that were not decided on in time.
