Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2026

This bill provides funding for the year 2026 for the legislative branch of the government, which includes the House of Representatives and many offices and agencies that support Congress, such as the Capitol Police, the Library of Congress, the Congressional Budget Office, the Government Accountability Office, and the Government Publishing Office. The bill does not include funding for the Senate, since each chamber of Congress traditionally decides its own budget separately. It also includes rules and limits on how the money provided in the bill can be spent.
