Get Your Money Back Act

This bill says the IRS must keep running its Direct File program, which lets certain taxpayers prepare and file their federal tax returns for free through the IRS website. Starting with tax years after 2025, every U.S. state and the District of Columbia would be required to take part in the program. Right now, the Direct File program is available to qualified taxpayers in 25 states.
