STARS Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior and the Forest Service to make September 17, 2026 a free entrance day at federal recreation sites to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. On that day, visitors would not have to pay entrance fees at National Park Service sites or standard recreation fees at sites managed by the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, or Forest Service.
