Hospital Inpatient Services Modernization Act

This bill extends a Medicare program that lets hospitals treat certain patients at home instead of keeping them in the hospital. The program, called the Acute Hospital Care at Home Program, would continue through 2030. The bill also requires the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to study how well the program works by looking at things like quality of care, costs, what services are provided, and what types of patients use it compared to regular hospital care.
