CBP Workload Staffing Model Act

This bill requires U.S. Customs and Border Protection to create a staffing model for the Border Patrol and Air and Marine Operations that considers their main activities, different work environments, and current and future equipment and technology. CBP must also create procedures for tracking workers, train staff on using the tracking system, and put controls in place to ensure accurate scheduling and reporting. The Department of Homeland Security must review the model and give feedback on how well it responds to DHS recommendations.
