Timothy J. Barber Act

This bill, called the Timothy J. Barber Act, requires the Department of Labor to study how well the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is spending its money on helping workplaces understand and follow rules about preventing heat-related illness. The study would look at whether OSHA's efforts to provide guidance and support on this topic are actually working.
