SNOW Act of 2025

This bill allows FEMA to provide grant money specifically for winter storm preparation and damage prevention, such as buying snow removal equipment. It requires FEMA to create new rules that make it easier for areas hit by snowstorms to qualify for federal disaster declarations and assistance, including help with cleanup and emergency aid. The bill also increases the federal government's share of disaster costs from 75% to 90% for rural or disadvantaged areas affected by any type of disaster.
