Resilient Transit Act of 2025

This bill allows the Department of Transportation to give grants to states and local governments to help pay for projects that make public transportation systems better able to handle climate change effects like rising sea levels, floods, wildfires, and extreme weather. The grants can be used for standalone projects or as parts of larger capital projects. The Department of Transportation must write a yearly report to Congress about these grants and put the report on their website.
