Cosmetic Hazardous Ingredient Right to Know Act of 2025

This bill would require companies that make cosmetics to list every ingredient on their product labels, including the specific ingredients that make up a fragrance or flavor, instead of just using the words "fragrance" or "flavor." If a product contains ingredients that appear on certain lists of potentially harmful chemicals, the label would need to direct consumers to the company's website for more information about possible health effects. Companies would also have to post detailed ingredient information on their websites, including what each fragrance or flavor ingredient does and whether any ingredient is on a list of harmful or potentially harmful chemicals. Cosmetic products that don't follow these rules would not be allowed to be sold.
