Climate-Friendly Food Label Task Force Act

This bill creates a group of experts to study how to make a "climate-friendly" label for food and farm products. The group would include scientists, environmental groups, industry representatives, and federal agency staff, all chosen by the Department of Agriculture. They would write a report with recommendations on how this labeling system should work, focusing on helping farmers reduce greenhouse gas emissions and giving consumers more choices and information. The Department of Agriculture cannot create any rules or labels related to climate-friendly farming until this report is finished and sent to Congress.
