PARTNER Act

This bill would let the President give special legal protections to certain international organizations. These protections include immunity from some lawsuits and not having to pay property taxes. The organizations are the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Pacific Islands Forum, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The bill would also let the President give the African Union's observer mission to the United Nations the same protections that regular UN member countries get.
