Safe Bases Act of 2025

This bill would allow the Department of Defense to let active duty service members carry hidden guns on military bases. The Defense Department would need to create one office to give out permits for this. To get a permit, a service member must be on active duty and must be legally allowed to buy, own, or have a gun under federal law.
