Office of Rural Affairs Enhancement Act

This bill changes how the Small Business Administration picks the person who runs its Office of Rural Affairs. Instead of just appointing someone, they would have to hold a competition to choose the best candidate. The person selected must have experience working with rural business issues and helping rural small businesses grow. The office would also be required to hold online training sessions and local events for rural small businesses, and the Small Business Administration would have to write a yearly report about what the office accomplished.
