Semiquincentennial Congressional Time Capsule Act

This bill requires the Architect of the Capitol to create a time capsule to honor the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The time capsule must be buried on the west lawn of the Capitol by July 4, 2026. Congressional leaders will decide what goes in the time capsule, and it will stay sealed until July 4, 2276.
