GIVE MILK Act

The GIVE MILK Act would change the WIC nutrition program to let participants choose what type of milk they want. Right now, most women and children over two years old can only get nonfat or 1% milk through WIC, with some exceptions. This bill would let WIC participants or their parents pick from nonfat milk, 1% low-fat milk, 2% reduced-fat milk, or whole milk.
