College Transparency Act

This bill requires the National Center for Education Statistics to create a secure data system that tracks information about college students, including things like enrollment, graduation rates, costs, financial aid, and what happens after students finish school. The system is meant to help students and families make better-informed decisions about their education and to cut down on the reporting work that colleges have to do. The bill also creates an advisory committee to help oversee this new data system.
