Health Care Efficiency Through Flexibility Act

This bill changes rules for groups of doctors and hospitals called accountable care organizations that report quality information to Medicare. The bill delays a requirement that these organizations use a specific computer system to report their quality measures until 2030. It also creates a test program to try other digital ways of reporting, and organizations in this test program don't have to use the current computer system. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must create standards by 2030 to make sure all electronic health record systems can work for different sizes and types of medical practices in different locations.
