Combating Cartels on Social Media Act of 2025

This bill requires three government departments - Homeland Security, Justice, and State - to work together to stop criminal organizations from using social media to recruit people in the United States for illegal activities. The departments must create and carry out a plan to combat how these criminal groups use social media platforms, messaging apps, and other digital platforms to recruit people for illegal activities in the United States, Mexico, or near the U.S. border.
