POLL Act

This bill requires states to make sure that voters don't have to wait more than 30 minutes at any polling place during a federal election. If voters do have to wait longer, they can take legal action, and the government would provide money to states to help reduce long wait times. The bill also requires states to have enough voting machines, poll workers, and other resources at every polling location on Election Day and during early voting, with the Department of Justice setting standards for how many are needed. Additionally, the top election official in each state would be banned from actively participating in political campaigns for federal elections they oversee, with some exceptions.
