BENES 2.0 Act

This bill requires Social Security to include Medicare information in account statements sent to people between ages 60 and 65. The statements must explain Medicare eligibility, penalties for enrolling late, how benefits work together, and where to find help. Social Security must mail these statements at least three months before someone turns 65, and also send the Medicare information to people 65 or older who get Social Security benefits three months before their Medicare enrollment period starts.
