Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act

This bill creates new federal crimes related to taking a minor across state lines to get an abortion. It makes it illegal to transport a minor to another state for an abortion if the rules in the minor's home state — like getting a parent's permission, notifying a parent, or getting approval from a judge — have not been followed. It also makes it a crime for someone who has committed incest with a minor to take that minor across state lines for an abortion. Additionally, a doctor could face criminal charges for performing an abortion on a minor from another state without first notifying the minor's parent.
