KAMALA Act

This bill would stop Community Development Block Grant money from being used to help non-U.S. nationals who are not permanent residents. These grants give states, local governments, and tribes money for economic and community development through the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The bill would also stop HUD from giving these grants to any state, local government, or tribe that runs housing or community development programs that help such individuals.
