Imported Seafood Safety Standards Act

This bill creates a special fund called the Inspection and Consumption of Shrimp and Shrimp Products Fund. The fund gets its money from fees collected on shrimp brought into the United States from other countries. The money must be used for two things: helping the Food and Drug Administration inspect imported shrimp for health and safety problems like antibiotic contamination and fair labor standards, and helping the Department of Agriculture encourage Americans to eat more shrimp.
