Local School Foods Expansion Act of 2025

This bill changes a program that helps states buy fruits and vegetables grown in America for school lunches. The program currently allows up to 8 states to participate, but this bill would increase that to 14 states. The bill also adds new rules about which purchases should be prioritized and requires more reports about how the program affects disadvantaged communities and the economy. It provides money for the program through 2030.
