Strengthening Wildfire Resiliency Through Satellites Act of 2025

This bill requires the U.S. Geological Survey to create a competitive grant program that provides money for satellite monitoring of wildfires. State foresters, emergency managers, and similar state officials can apply for these grants. Grant recipients must use the money to buy and integrate satellite data about wildfires and to use that data to detect and manage wildfires.
