Congressional MRA Act

This bill requires that any leftover money from the House of Representatives' office allowances be returned to the Treasury to help reduce the federal deficit or debt. House members get money each year called the Members' Representational Allowance to run their offices for official duties, but they cannot use it for personal or campaign purposes. When members don't spend all of their office money by the end of the year, this bill makes it a permanent rule that the unused funds must go back to help pay down government debt.
