South Pacific Tuna Treaty Act of 2025

This bill changes federal rules for U.S. commercial fishing boats that operate in the South Pacific. The changes are based on updates to the South Pacific Tuna Treaty that were agreed to in Fiji on December 3, 2016. The treaty sets out what the United States and 16 Pacific Island countries must do when U.S. fishing boats work in that area.
