CONTAINER Act

This bill would let border states put temporary movable structures on federal land near the U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico borders without needing special permission first. The states could use these structures to secure the borders for up to one year. If border control agencies say the border area is not fully controlled, the Interior Department and Forest Service must approve 90-day extensions for keeping the structures there.
