STOP FRAUD in Medicaid Act

This bill would give state Medicaid fraud investigation teams the power to look into and take legal action against people who apply for or receive Medicaid benefits if they are suspected of fraud. Right now, these teams can only investigate fraud committed by Medicaid providers, like doctors or hospitals. The bill would expand their role to also cover fraud by individuals using the program.
